Rachel Horne, RN, BSN

Rachel Tieken Horne, RN, BSN graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has been a nurse for 37 years. Her experience includes working at Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Burn Center, SICU/Trauma Center, and Holding Room/PACU. Rachel has also cared for neurosurgical patients at Kentiuckiana Neurosurgery in Indiana and at Riverhills Neuroscience in Cincinnati. Additionally, she has taught community prevention programs through TriHealth at Bethsaida North Hospital. She continues to work at UCHealth Barrett Cancer Center.

Rachel has a certificate in Legal Nurse Consulting from Ohio University and a Nurse Coaching certificate from Transformative Nurse Coaching in Oregon. She enjoys being a nurse and finds inspiration and insight from her peers and patients. She serves as a data collector on the Telehealth Assessment and Skill-Building Intervention for Stroke caregivers.
