Maygen Farber, BSN, RN
TASK III Nurse
Maygen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Kentucky. Upon graduation, she commissioned into the United States Air Force where she worked as a Registered Nurse for seven years. She began her career working on a Medical Surgical in-patient unit for 3 years, caring for both active-duty members and veterans. She then moved to Florida and worked in the Internal Medicine clinic, providing comprehensive care to veterans and their family members. Her family was then offered the opportunity to move to Guam where she embraced the role of Disease Manager, focusing on improving patients’ overall health. This experience ignited her passion for patient and family education, helping them achieve healthier lifestyles. Before separating from the military, Maygen completed her final tour in Alabama as a Flight Medicine Nurse, caring for active-duty flyers. Currently, she is pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati in the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program. Maygen serves as a nurse with the Telehealth Assessment and Skill-Building Intervention for Stroke Caregivers (TASK III Program).
